About Us
Greenamyre Rentals began in 1965 as a spin-off of Besel’s Roofing & Heating.
V.B. “Mac” Greenamyre was looking for a way to keep his employees busy in the slow
months, so he began remodeling old homes for rental units. Since then, remodeled
homes have made way to new construction, multi-family complexes, town-home communities
and commercial properties. Today, Greenamyre Rentals owns and manages approximately
250 residential units and 300,000 sq. ft. of commercial space. It has continued
as a family business, now managed by Mike Greenamyre and sons Jeremy and Daniel.
Meet Our Staff
Mike Greenamyre - President
Mike took over operations of Greenamyre Rentals in 2001. His area of expertise
originated in the commercial roofing industry. He began his first company
in 1973, American Roofing, which he still manages today. Mike oversees all
construction and major maintenance projects.
Jeremy Greenamyre - Vice President & Commercial Operations
Jeremy has been with Greenamyre Rentals since June 2001. He graduated from Kansas State University, School of Business. His responsibilities include the management and leasing of their commercial portfolio, land sales, and new developments. Jeremy is also a licensed realtor focusing on landlord/tenant representation and property sales. Jeremy’s Groups and Associations: Kansas City CCIM Chapter, International Council of Shopping Centers, Commerce Bank Board of Directors (Leavenworth area), Leavenworth-Lansing Chamber of Commerce, Leavenworth County Development Corporation, Kansas City Regional Association of Realtors.
Daniel Greenamyre - Vice President & Residential Operations
Daniel, also a graduate from Kansas State, returned to Leavenworth after four years
in San Diego. Together with property manager Ann Hill, Daniel manages the
daily operations of all residential properties and residential maintenance.
Kersten Barnett - Residential Property Manager
Kersten was born and raised in Leavenworth, she is an Immaculata High School graduate-Class of 1999. Kersten and her husband Loren have been married since September 2001, and have one daughter-Taylor. Kersten is heading new organizational management operations and will be assisting all new and existing residential clients. She is the first person you will meet when visiting our local office.
Dale Morrison - Office Manager
Dale has been with the company for over 20 years. He is originally from Maryland,
but ended up in Leavenworth as an Army Brat. He and his wife also own/operate
Cherokee Valley Farms, www.CVFMorrison.com, a horse riding school in Lansing, KS.
Susan Willis - Accountant
Susan started with Greenamyre Rentals, Inc. in 2001 as the payroll clerk and
Dale’s assistant. She moved to the accounting department in 2007. She has lived
in Leavenworth since 1987.She enjoys spending time with her family and watching
KU Basketball.
