- Leavenworth High School was one of the original eight high schools in Kansas to
become members of the North Central Association (NCA) and is one of only three to
be continuously accredited by NCA for 100 years.
- Average class size at the primary level (K-2) is 17.6 and at the elementary level
(K-5) is 18.0.
- Three LHS graduates were named National Merit Finalists in 2006, and five named
Commended this year.
- Leavenworth High School offers fifteen (15) Advanced Placement courses including
